Struggling to find the right diet seems to be a full-time activity for many of us. South Beach Diet. Atkins Diet. HCG Diet. I'm surprised there's not a Chicago Pizza Diet (wait, I might be on that one right now.)
I've tried counting calories before. That was fun. People would ask me what I was doing as I wrote down calories in my little journal. "Oh, I'm just going over my to-do list!" Right.
Even if I was able to count the calories, cutting calories in an attempt to create a calorie deficit just made me light-headed and put my metabolism in starvation mode.
With more headaches than the production of Spiderman on Broadway, I would just give up.
